Over the past two years, Neil Hayes Painting & Decorating Ltd has been appointed directly by the Adelphi Hotel’s General Manager to deliver an ongoing programme of painting, decorating and restoration works throughout this historic Liverpool landmark.
Our work has covered approximately eight function rooms and ballrooms, numerous corridors and multiple guest bedrooms. The varied programme has included bedroom painting and wallpapering, corridor redecoration and detailed work to the hotel’s grand ceilings.
The ornate ceilings feature intricate mouldings, decorative panelling and original architectural details. Our team carefully repaired, prepared and repainted these areas, using MEWPs and specialist access equipment to work closely around the detailing while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
All projects have been delivered within a live, operational hotel, requiring careful planning around guests, employees, functions and events. Our continued appointment across multiple phases reflects the hotel management’s confidence in our workmanship, reliability and ability to treat this important heritage setting with care.
